I am practicing massage therapy out of The Bulldogs Headquarters in Red Deer, AB. I provide deep tissue, sports massage, cupping and relaxation massage.
I help women feel confident and strong while channeling their inner badass.

My objective is to share my knowledge with you and help you facilitate change that feels right in your current lifestyle so that you can have long lasting results.

Parts of my journey might be similar to things that you’ve experienced.
I was exposed to disordered eating behaviours early on in my life. I grew up idolizing women that never felt thin enough, good enough, or beautiful enough. Being immersed in diet culture is not at all a unique scenario. Once I realized that, I knew I needed to get involved.
My interest in human biology and anatomy got me started in my initial career choice- Massage Therapy. I knew I was on the right track because I was able to help people manage their pain, get back to their daily activities and reduce stress. I was able to make lifestyle recommendations for the pain and stress my clients were experiencing; however, I didn’t feel like my advice at the time was enough to make a real difference.
I have always loved the science of nutrition, but beyond the biology and chemistry involved, I wanted to learn more about the psychosocial factors behind food.
When I was in nutrition school I was completely blown away learning about how adequate nutrition could’ve helped with my anxiety and depression, my adult acne, my crappy digestion and my painful and heavy periods. The excitement to share everything I’ve learned has not dimmed since then!
And then comes fitness. When I was in College I started taking working out “more seriously.” That’s in quotations because I started becoming excessive about exercise but had no clue what I was doing. I remember having pictures of Victoria’s Secret models pinned to my wall for inspiration. I would exclusively run on the treadmill or walk on the Stairmaster. Part of me thought that’s what I needed to do to have a trim and toned body and part of me was just plain petrified to enter the weight room. Things have certainly changed in that regard. Now I exercise in a way that I enjoy; in a way that makes me feel strong and energized; in a way that is sustainable; and in a way that makes me feel like a total badass.
My dedication to health and fitness has increased my confidence tenfold. I am certain that if I ever have a daughter, she will not see me go on crazy diets, do excessive amounts of cardio, or shame my body.
That’s what I want for you.
